Buck is invited to be the special guest of the 2492 Olympics, which is to be held on the planet Mykos. However, not long after he and Wilma arrive, Buck is approached by Jorex Leet, an athlete from the planet Lozeria, who wants to defect to Earth along with his lover, Lara Tissean, the Olympic Astrosled champion. However, unknown to Buck and Wilma, Jorex is being used by Alaric, the Prime Minister of the Lozerian government, as a symbol of their world’s political struggles; an explosive device called a disharmoniser has been implanted in Jorex’s head - and it will explode the moment he tries to escape from the planet…
